Me-Made-May: final round up!

Wow, a whole month of me-made clothing!  Despite my initial pledge to wear handmade items only 4 days a week, I made it through the entire month wearing at least one me-made garment every day!  I didn't think I had so many homemade clothes!  Here's the final round up:
May 25, Sunday:  Strawberry picking and dinner with my bro and his lady friend
Top: SBCC Mimosa blouse (handmade and unblogged!)
Denim trousers: Gap
May 26, Monday: Memorial Day barbecue with friends
Top: Anthropologie
Shorts:  handmade, here (repeat garment #2)
May 27, Tuesday: Sewing and errands
Top: handmade, here
Shirt: ponte knit, handmade and unblogged (repeat garment #3)
Sweatercoat: Patagonia (it was a chilly morning!)
May 28, Wednesday: Shopping and errands
Blouse: handmade, here
Denim skirt: Ann Taylor Loft
Sweater: Target
May 29, Thursday: Helping out at the school
Sweater: Therapy
Blouse: ModCloth
Capri pants: handmade, here

May 30, Friday: Helping at the school, errands and appointments
Blouse: Anthropologie
Trousers: handmade, here
May 31, Saturday: Harvesting trip to Pie Ranch
Turtleneck: handmade, here
Jeans: Gap

It's a bit of a relief to be done (no more daily photo and I missed some of my RTW clothes!) but it was definitely a fun month. There's something kind of nice to having a limited wardrobe to chose from in the morning.  I wore about 90% of my handmade items (that are seasonally and otherwise appropriate), so the items I consistently skipped over will definitely be donated.

Thanks for following along with my Me-Made-May challenge!

  2. Well done! You looked great all month long and I appreciate the posing beside your ironing board every day must have been tiresome. It was great to see such lovely things being worn.
